Artist Talk with Berirouche Feddal

The PDSA is excited to share the Artist Talk with Concordia Fine Arts Alumni Berirouche Feddal (Instagram: @berirouche). The artist spoke on his artistic practice via Zoom, on March 15th at 6:30pm.

« Originally from North Africa, from present-day "Algeria" and more precisely from the region of the mountains of Kabylia, affiliated with the Igawawen of the Nath Irathen arc and of the Amazigh heritage, Berirouche Feddal (Vrirouc nat uqassi, ⵠⵔⵉⵔⵓⵛ ⵏⴰⵝ ⵓⴽⴰⵙⵉ ) is a Montreal artist recognized for his transdisciplinarity. He obtained his bachelor's degree in printed media from Concordia University in 2020. He is currently pursuing a graduate diploma in management of cultural organizations at HEC Montréal and will soon begin a blown glass technique at Cégep du Old Montreal. His work has notably been presented at Bradley Ertaskiran (Montréal, Canada), ARTCH-Emerging Contemporary Art (Montréal, Canada), Galerie Laroche / Joncas (Montreal, Canada), Conserverie Marrakech (Marrakech, Morocco), Maison de la culture de la Rivière-des-Prairies (Montreal, Canada), Fofa Gallery (Montreal, Canada) and Stewart Hall Gallery (Montreal, Canada). »

Berirouche Feddal’s work was most recently featured in the group exhibition Pelures at the gallery Bradley Ertaskiran, alongside artist Florence Yee. The exhibition was up until February 26th.
